If you’re paying attention to the indie rock blog radar, I’m pretty sure you’ll see the Columbus band Connections making blip-after-blip.  Comprised of local #yunggodz from bands like Andrew Graham’s Swarming Branch, Times New Viking and C-bus legends El Jesus De Magico, it’s no surprise that they’d be whipping up lo-fi goodness in no short supply. After some dates opening for the Breeders, as well as increasingly favorable rock press, I’m excited to see what’s next for these dudes.  Here’s some pics of them playing with SOON TO BE local legends Red Feathers at the WV White album release at Carabar.  PS…not sure I really elaborated but, dang, this band is the heat-they completely channel this glam-y new psych “Nuggets” style weirdness with so much authenticity it’s hard to tell what year it is (‘69/’81/’96/’03….WHAAAA?).

Columbus, Ohio’s Musicol Recording Studio seems pretty cool.

this is where we recorded our last album.  it is a magical, legendary place.
